To be honest, it is not hard to get books on to either of them regardless of source. The following points are the main differences I have noticed, but with the context that my kindle was an extremely old edition (probably about 8 years ago, I had the option to buy one of the ancient ones with a keyboard). I used to have a Kindle, and now have a Kobo. The Tolino Vision 4 HD is the closest to Paperwhite features while not being Amazon, but it seems to be restricted to Germany and hence not well known. Apparently there are two quite convinced and quite convincing parties here. I enjoyed reading all your perspectives, even though I have to admit I'm not closer to making a decision yet. Thanks for reading, I appreciate any advice.Įdit: Thanks everyone for your input. And I anticipate I'd read a lot of sideloaded/converted epubs but as far as I have seen that seems to work with all of them equally well, right? Last things: I don't think I'd need audiobooks. Also looks a little clunky, not sure about the general feel/usability of it. Seems to be doing everything, while also being a bit niche. Any other advice for the software?
